That&#8217;s why in the City of Toronto and surrounding areas, you don&#8217;t have to speak English to report an emergency. Just call 911, and if you can&#8217;t speak English, say the name of your language.<\/h3>\n<h3>This website is dedicated to sharing that message. We encourage you to tell everyone you know, especially people who speak other languages.<\/h3>\n<h3>When you call 911 and you don&#8217;t speak English, the operator will get an interpreter on the line to translate your call.
